Homemade GYOZA 😜 ⁠

Ingredients:⁠
200g ground pork (or chicken)⁠
1 cup cabbage (finely chopped)⁠
2 green onions / shallots (chopped)⁠
2 cloves garlic (minced)⁠
1 tsp ginger (grated)⁠
1 tbsp soy sauce⁠
1 tbsp sesame oil⁠
1 tbsp sake or rice vinegar⁠
Salt and pepper (to taste)⁠
Gyoza wrappers (store-bought)⁠
Water (for sealing and cooking)⁠
Oil (for frying⁠
1 x Jar Morella Grove Chilli Crunch (use as required)⁠

Method⁠
1. Prepare Filling:⁠
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, sake, salt, and pepper. Mix well.⁠
2. Assembly ⁠
Take a gyoza wrapper and place a small spoonful of filling in the centre. ⁠
Dip your finger in water and run it along the edge of the wrapper. ⁠
Fold the wrapper in half, pleating one side as you press the edges together to seal.⁠
3. To Cook Gyoza⁠ - Heat a tablespoon of oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. ⁠
Place the gyoza flat side down in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Add 1/4 cup water to the pan and cover with a lid. Let the gyoza steam for 4-5 minutes until the water evaporates.⁠
4. To Serve⁠, remove the lid and cook for an additional minute to crisp up the bottoms. Serve hot + top /drizzle with our Morella Grove Chilli Crunch.⁠
